Cookie Policy

This site uses very few cookies, and only the ones it needs to work. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. This page lists exactly what is stored on your device and why.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website saves on your device. Similar technology, such as your browser's local storage, does the same job. Some are essential for a site to work; others remember your choices or measure how a site is used.

2. What we use

NamePurposeTypeLasts
sessionidKeeps you signed in to your accountStrictly necessary, first-partyUp to 14 days, or until you sign out
csrftokenProtects forms, such as sign-in and request forms, against forgeryStrictly necessary, first-partyUp to 1 year
theme (local storage)Remembers whether you chose light or dark modePreference, first-partyUntil you clear it
__cf_bm, cf_clearanceCloudflare uses these to tell real visitors from bots and to keep the site secure; they may appear when security checks runStrictly necessary, set by CloudflareUp to 30 minutes (__cf_bm); longer for cf_clearance

The first two are set only when you open a form or sign in, and the theme entry only when you pick a theme. Cookies and storage that are strictly necessary do not need your consent under Nigerian data protection law, because the site cannot work without them.

3. What we do not use

  • No analytics or statistics cookies.
  • No advertising or retargeting cookies.
  • No social media tracking pixels.

If we ever add any of these, we will update this page first and ask for your consent before they are set.

4. Third-party content

To display text in our typeface, your browser fetches font files from Google Fonts. That request shares your IP address and browser details with Google, as any web request does, but we do not use it to track you. If you choose "Sign in with Google", Google's own pages may set cookies, which are covered by Google's policies. Property photos on some pages load from Unsplash. See our Privacy Policy for how personal data is handled.

5. Managing cookies

You can see, block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the exact steps differ by browser, so search your browser's help for "cookies". Blocking the strictly necessary ones means you will not be able to sign in. You can switch light and dark mode at any time from the toggle in the top bar, and clearing your site data resets that choice.

6. Changes and contact

We update this page if the cookies we use change. It was last updated on 30 October 2026. Questions? Email [email protected] or call +234 708 956 0595.
